A revolutionary work. It argues for an Aristotelian and Objectivist understanding of mathematics, when mathematics is so largely Platonist.

Overall a good book with lots of ideas and connections regarding the proper role and use of mathematics, examining various areas and presenting an integrated substantiation of his theory that math is a tool for indirect measurement.I learned some clearer formulations of mathematics that I had half-learned previously (graduate degree in engineering), and clarified some of my own ideas regarding proper conceptualizing and keeping abstract ideas tied to experience.
