This has a little information on several topics but not enough on anyone to be helpful. I've had several 'teach yourself visually' and this one just didn't measure us.
Set-up instructions were okay. How to download things like webinairs and troubleshooting problems were limited.
I find this series of books and this one very useful. There are a lot of details I have learned before, but they serve as refreshers.
Did me justice good book.
How anybody can say this book doesn't deal with the Yosemite OS IS beyond me. The OS IS the Yosemite in my MacBook Pro and this book describes the inner workings of the OS in a very consise detail in my opinion.
I have purchased the entire series of books each time Apple changes operating systems and am very happy with the simplicity of explaining any question that may come up.
Very informative and in language I can understand.
Besides the other two iMac books I bought I especially like this book for the section on Security. In the Index you'll find quite a few very important heading having to do with protecting your Mac, such as Changing Passwords, and setting up your Firewall.
Great Book, very easy to understand. Allows to quickly learn the presented material.
